Biography
Professor Teresa Mwuese Nmadu is a distinguished scholar in Human Resource and Strategic Management and the immediate past Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Jos. She previously served as Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration) from 2014 to 2018. With over 40 years of teaching and research experience, she holds degrees from Ahmadu Bello University, the University of Pittsburgh, and a Ph.D. from the University of Jos. Prof. Nmadu is a Fellow of the International Women’s Leadership Forum and a member of SHRM, USASBE, TAMN, and CIPM. She has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers, supervised numerous PhDs, and contributed extensively to national institutions including NIPSS and the National Defence College. Her work integrates entrepreneurship and human capital development, and she actively mentors youth through the British Council’s Active Citizens Programme. She has chaired regional HR and education boards and continues to inspire change in organizations and communities.
